Due to California regulations no children under the age of 18 and no pets are permitted at The Skull Museum at any time.
***California law requires that a person be at least 18 years of age in order to legally get a tattoo.***
TATTOO COST
Pricing is not charged hourly, but per full or half day flat rates. Please check the services menu for session rates. The final cost will be determined by how much time is spent to make your piece. Larger pieces like full sleeves and back pieces usually take multiple sessions
TATTOO DEPOSIT
The deposit will be applied towards the cost of your session. The remaining balance will be paid the day of the tattoo.
If you do not leave a deposit, you do not have an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and you must provide 72 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules.
IDEA APPROVAL
Most black and grey tattoos will be approved! Cover-ups, touch-ups, working around other artists tattoos, copying someone’s design or choosing a different style from what you see in the tattoo portfolio are the most common reasons a tattoo is not approved; however, it doesnt hurt to ask! Never hesitate to send your idea for approval!
DESIGN PROCESS
Tattoo designs are created on the day of your appointment to ensure a unique and personalized piece. Take a look at the tattoo portfolio and be open to artistic guidance to make your tattoo truly special. The more creative freedom you allow, the better the outcome! Your design will be revealed to you after your consultation on the day of your appointment.
SESSION LENGTH
A half day session is approximately 4 hours, a full day is approximately 8 hours. Sessions include your consultation, initial rough draft design and (upon your approval) the final design, stencil and tattooing. Designs often take up to 2 hours, so don’t worry, it’s not 8 hours of pain! Full arm sleeves, leg sleeves and full back pieces can take anywhere from 4-8 sessions.
