The Story…

I painted the boxing girl in 2017 during the final stretch of my tattoo apprenticeship.

The words “Never Give Up” stood out to me through a rough, emotional season of my life. During this time, life was full of challenges and life-changing decisions. The only way to get through it was to face it head-on instead of running away like I sometimes wanted to.

I recall meeting a girl with a tattoo of this Japanese proverb

七転び八起き

It says “Nana korobi ya oki” which translated means “Fall down seven times, get up eight”.

Long story short, it has taken a lot of not giving up to get my design finalized, shirts quality checked, a website up and running, and keeping up with life at the same time.

Now, years later, I am so excited to launch this design on tshirts for everyone and anyone to remind you not to give up on yourself, your life, or your dreams. Ever.
